Artist Statement:
Growing up surrounded by the bright colors of her father’s print shop, Benhaim’s interest in creating art and visuals blossomed at an early age. Initially working representationally through portraiture and landscapes, Benhaim’s interest has now shifted towards abstract art while maintaining her love of vibrant color and the natural world.

Education:
As a Philadelphia local, Benhaim earned her BFA and M.Ed from Temple’s Tyler School of Art. Connecting directly with the Philadelphia community, she was a specialist teacher in the Philadelphia public school system. Her work has been featured in the Woodmere Museum and publicly in the collections of PNC Headquarters (Pittsburgh), Mondrian Investments (Philadelphia), and Del Frisco’s Grille (Philadelphia). She has participated in juried shows and exhibitions across the country, winning awards in many juried group shows.
