Artist Statement:
Molly Whalen’s works embody the happiness she feels daily. Some of this happiness comes from external sources, such as the beach and experiences in nature, but Whalen’s lighthearted demeanor is the ultimate factor in her personality overflowing with positivity. The creation of a tangible expression of happiness allows Whalen to share it with others, which she finds deeply gratifying.

Education:
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Molly Whalen has been interested in the artistic process from a very young age. She further developed her abilities at Temple’s Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
